The club was invited to attend the 3rd Community Groups and Older Persons Information Fair in the Meridian Centre Havant organized by the MP for Havant Alan Mak.

John and I arrived and set up the table as seen in the above photo then Dave Reynolds joined us and we were ready to start promoting the club.

There was quite a lot of interest shown but one of the major things highlighted was “Where is The Forest of Bere Woodturners based?”  This gave the three of us something to think about and I am sure that John will come up with some good ideas to put to the committee for future events.

The fair was well attended with some 50 plus stalls in attendance from Banks to Care Homes.

Alan Mak then came and visited the stall when a photo was taken with him then thanking us for coming. The event finished at 3.00pm and the three of us went home happy with how the day had gone.

Photo below is with Alan Mak.
